Do you know the six elements of nozzle selection?
Industrial nozzles are mainly divided into two categories: fan nozzles and cone nozzles! The fan-shaped nozzle type can basically be used in cleaning, whether it is an integrated fan-shaped or a narrow wide-angle fan-shaped, a quick-release combination or even a clip-on type, etc., it can achieve a certain cleaning effect. The cone nozzle is mainly to disperse the liquid to achieve the effect of atomizing the liquid, so the cone nozzle can be collectively referred to as the atomizing nozzle.
How to choose a truly practical nozzle, you need to pay attention to the following six elements:
1. Nozzle type
Two categories of cleaning and atomization: cleaning is mainly based on fan-shaped nozzles, and only a few of them need to use cone-shaped nozzles. The advantages of the fan-shaped nozzle, the fan-shaped spray pattern forms a straight striking surface, which can provide the maximum striking force per unit area. The fan-shaped nozzle is the most suitable for strong impact cleaning applications under the same pressure and flow. A small number of cone-shaped nozzles need to be used. The cone-shaped nozzles are used in cleaning. The main focus is on its wide coverage. The evenly atomized liquid particles can also achieve a certain washing and spraying effect within the range of the striking surface. For example: demister cleaning, grille cleaning, garbage station spraying, mechanical equipment parts washing and so on.
Atomization is based on cone-shaped nozzles: the more popular explanation of atomization is to evenly disperse the liquid, and then select the size and diameter of the atomized liquid particles according to the requirements of the atomization. In layman's terms: the state of smog, the state of drizzle, the state of light rain, the state of moderate rain, the state of heavy rain, the state of heavy rain. It selects different atomization states according to different use environments, so as to select different atomization nozzles. No matter solid cone or hollow cone nozzle, the above atomization state can be achieved!
2. Spray pressure and flow
The spray flow is generally provided by the equipment pump, or controlled according to the actual use scenario. The pressure and flow are fixed. The liquid flow is divided into circular use and single use. Both need to be accurate to L/min. Recycling needs to consider water storage. The size of the equipment, a single use only needs to consider whether it can keep up within the specified time. For any nozzle, the greater the pressure, the greater the flow. But not all nozzles of the same type have the same flow rate under the same pressure.
3. Spray angle
The main consideration of spray angle is coverage, and the spray angle of the nozzle can be changed under the premise of the specified coverage range and the number of nozzles. It can also be understood that, in the specified coverage area, it is best to choose the spray angle of the nozzle. Key point: The larger the atomization angle, the wider the coverage area, and the relationship is proportional. Its fan-shaped nozzle is more obvious. But not all use conditions are suitable for large-angle atomizing nozzles. Under the same pressure, the greater the angle, the smaller the impact force. Mechanical cone nozzles, nozzles with a limited angle, whose angle can change slightly with pressure changes, and the relationship is inversely proportional.
4. Spray effect
According to the actual use, select the required atomization effect, which is the atomization state mentioned above. The light rain mode is the smallest for the smoke-drizzle-light rain-moderate rain, but the fan spray is the smallest. It can also reach the state of smoke.
5. Spray liquid and spray environment
The liquid and the environment directly determine the material and aperture of the nozzle, specifically the corrosiveness of the liquid and the temperature, humidity of the environment, and the cleanliness (solid content) of the liquid. It is necessary to consider whether the nozzle needs to be clogged and the cleaning content For the liquid cleaning of chemical agents, or the recycling of water for environmental protection, the main consideration for the environment is temperature.
Anti-clogging nozzles: spiral nozzles, MP nozzles, vortex nozzles, pipe nozzles, etc.
Corrosion resistant materials: stainless steel 304.316, C276.1.4529.2205.310. PVDF, Teflon, ceramics, etc.
High temperature resistance: 316.2205.1.4529.310.C276.
6. Other elements
The service life of the material needs to be considered; the pipe loss needs to be considered when calculating the pressure; the use price of the nozzle;
