The machining sequence is arranged according to the principle of base surface first, rough first then fine, first main and second. For general parts of gear shafts, after the center hole is prepared, the outer circle is processed first, and then the other parts are processed, and the roughing and finishing are carried out separately. In the gear shaft machining process, heat treatment is used as a mark. Rough machining is before quenching and tempering, semi-finishing before quenching, and finishing after quenching. After the stages are separated in this way, it is ensured that the finishing of the main surface is finally carried out, and the stress of other surface processing will not affect the accuracy of the main surface.
