New Typhoon: Kanu

According to the latest news from the National Meteorological Center, Typhoon "Kanu" has been upgraded to a strong typhoon at 8 am today. Maximum wind: Force 14, 42 m/s (about 151 km/h). Central pressure :955 hPa. Reference location: about 630 km southeast of Naha City, Ryukyu Islands. Kanu will move northwest at a speed of 15-20 kilometers per hour, gradually increasing in intensity.
Whether it lands or moves north, the obvious wind and rain brought by Typhoon "Kanu" to Zhejiang in early August is inevitable, the main impact period is 2-4 days, please pay further attention to the relevant forecast and warning information, and make preparations in advance.

Since July 29, central and eastern Hebei, most of Beijing, Tianjin, central and eastern Shanxi, most of Henan, central and western Shandong and northern parts of the peninsula have seen heavy rain, and central and southern Beijing, central and northeastern Hebei, northern Henan, eastern Shanxi, western Shandong and other places have seen heavy rain. In some areas of central and southern Hebei, southwest Beijing, northern Henan and other places, heavy rain (cumulative rainfall of 250 ~ 998.1 mm during the process), the maximum rainfall intensity of 20 ~ 50 mm in most areas, and more than 80 mm in local places.

 

It is expected that from 08:00 on July 31 to 08:00 on August 1, most of Hebei, Beijing, Tianjin, eastern Shanxi and other places will have heavy rain, among which, central Hebei, central and western Beijing and other places will have heavy rain (100 ~ 220mm); Scattered heavy rain or rainstorm occurred in the south-central Inner Mongolia, the north of Henan, the north of Jiangxi, the northeast of Yunnan, the south of Sichuan, the northwest of Guizhou, the south coast of Guangxi and the southwest of Hainan Island.
