4. Processing method of spline shaft


The spline shaft has a longitudinal keyway on the outer surface of the shaft, and the rotating part sleeved on the shaft also has a corresponding keyway, which can keep rotating synchronously with the shaft. While rotating, some can also slide longitudinally on the shaft, such as gearbox shift gears, etc. There are many processing methods for spline shafts, mainly cutting processing methods such as hobbing, milling and grinding, and plastic deformation processing methods such as cold striking and cold rolling.
Hobbing method: Use a spline hob to process it on a spline shaft milling machine or gear hobbing machine according to the generating method.


Milling method: use a special form milling cutter on a universal milling machine to directly mill out the inter-tooth contour, and use a dividing head to divide and mill tooth by tooth; if you do not use a form milling cutter, you can also use two disc milling cutters to mill both sides of a tooth at the same time , After milling tooth by tooth, use a disc milling cutter to slightly trim the bottom diameter.


Grinding method: Grinding the spline tooth side and bottom diameter on a spline shaft grinder with a profiled grinding wheel. With the increase of industrial technology automation production capacity, more and more enterprises have begun to step into the field of intelligence. Especially in SCARA robot configuration, it is widely used. With the popularity of 3C digital electronic products and equipment, the demand in this area has generally increased, resulting in excessive demand, and sometimes the supply is in short supply.


First, structure and features


The nut-rotating ball screw operates by attaching a dedicated bearing housing to the outer diameter of the nut to make it run. By rotating or stopping the nut, two types of motion (rotation and screw) can be performed with only one shaft. The rotary ball spline is to install a special bearing sleeve on the outer diameter of the spline outer cylinder to make it rotate. By rotating or stopping the outer cylinder, two types of motion (rotary and linear) can be performed with only one axis. The rotary ball screw spline can perform three types of motion (rotary, helical, and linear) with only one axis by rotating or stopping the nut/outer cylinder. It is suitable for SCARA, industrial robot, automatic loader, laser processing machine, handling device, ATC device of machining center, etc., and is most suitable for use on a combination device of rotary motion and linear motion.


Second, zero clearance in the direction of spline rotation/high positioning accuracy


The contact angle between the spline outer cylinder and the steel ball is 45°, and the design of the bearing DF (face-to-face combination) can absorb the error during assembly, automatically adjust the concentricity, and can withstand large axial loads and high-precision assembly.

Fifth, easy installation/space saving


The nut and the bearing cover are integrally formed, and only need to lock the screw and the bearing cover on the support seat during assembly, which is very simple. The nut and the bearing casing are integrally formed, the nut is small in size and has a large assembly space.
