LatheTurning CNC Machining Motor Housing-Stainless Steel
Stainless steel has been the most widely used material in motor housings. This is not surprising since it has many advantages such as easy processing, robustness, high weight-to-weight ratio, aesthetics, durability, and recycling properties. These characteristics make it an ideal choice for motor housing materials.
In KFX, we have specialized in stainless steel LatheTurning processing for motor housing for lots of years.

Precision tolerance
It doesn't bleed.
Compact.
It's an anti-impact.
Why do our motor housings need these features?
tight tolerance
Internal components perform a major function, converting electricity into mechanical rotary motion accompanied by a magnetic field. Since the movement of the output and the power input must be maintained very precisely, all positions of the components must be very well placed. Rotors, bearings, stators, air gaps, windings, commutators, gaps between them should be as small as possible.
good seal
Regarding leak tightness, there are two aspects to this requirement. One is about air bubbles in the motor casing, and in this case we have to be very strict. On the other hand, the clearance after assembly must be extremely small to prevent the lubricant from leaking out of the sealed cylinder.
compact
The main purpose of using motors is to provide a continuous and stable supply of mechanical movement. A compact housing is essential for stable operation of the entire motor. Aluminum is the best choice for this industry. Die casting solutions are the most cost effective for high volume production with normal requirements. High quality, small scale production, aluminum extrusion and his CNC machining make the surface very shiny, perfectly showing the high-end quality.
impact resistance
When the motor is running, all the major power-transmitting components must rotate upwards, so that the component-related support frame is in constant contact with the inside of the housing due to mechanical power. Prolonged use will cause the touch surface to wear out easily. However, the surface is aluminum, very smooth, with a small roughness such as Ra0.8, which can greatly reduce the collision between contact surfaces and extend the service life.
