Coupling installation method
Any rotating parts are potentially dangerous, and the user should use a shield to properly protect the coupling. In order to ensure the long-life operation of the machine and the coupling, the user must correctly select and install the coupling.
1. Detect the distance between the two shaft ends:
First, put the rotors of the master and slave machines in the operating position, pay attention to the axial movement of the two machines to make them close to the working position, and then detect the distance between the two shaft ends and adjust them to the requirements on the general installation drawing. s position.
2. Unpack and clean the components of the complete set of couplings.
3. Installation of the installation disk:
The fit between the inner hole of the mounting plate and the journal is generally designed as a "transition fit" or "interference fit". Therefore, the inner hole of the mounting plate and the outer diameter of the shaft should be carefully checked before installation to ensure that the surface is clean and free of burrs.
For straight shafts: put the key in the keyway on the shaft, the key end should not be protruding or recessed into the shaft end, it is better to be flush. Put the mounting plate in the oil tank and heat it at a temperature of 120-150℃. After heating and keeping warm, quickly install it at the required position on the shaft according to the coupling installation drawing and pay attention to the position mark. The mounting plate and the shaft end should generally be flush. Partial heating is not allowed during heating to avoid deformation.
For tapered shaft: Install the key on the shaft as required by the flat shaft key, then install the mounting plate on the shaft, push it tightly, and tighten it with a nut to move the mounting plate axially to its fixed position . The distance from the initial position to the working position is also called the axial advance value:
Axial thrust value = hub diameter fit interference value / taper K
The hub axle interference value can be found on the general installation drawing or technical conditions or recommended as follows:
Straight hole with key: 0.0005~0.00075mm/mm×shaft diameter
Taper hole with key: 0.001 mm/mm×shaft diameter
Keyless hydraulic assembly hole: 0.0015~0.0025 mm/mm×shaft diameter
Finally, tighten the nut.
4. Aligning the installation disk:
In order to ensure the correct installation of the mounting plate, the dial indicator can be used to detect the outer circle and end surface of the mounting plate. The runout of the outer circle and end surface should not be greater than 0.05mm. The dial indicator can be used to detect the outer circle and end surface of the mounting plate. The runout of the circle and the end face should not be greater than 0.05mm. For mounting disks with an outer diameter greater than 250mm or a taper hole, the end runout is allowed to be 0.08mm under extreme conditions.
5. Detect the distance between the two mounting plates
First, put the main and driven machine rotors in the running position, and then measure the distance F between the two mounting plates (take the average of 3 to 4 readings in the circumferential direction), and make the F size conform to the installation general drawing The size (or the sum of the spacing axis and the measured size of the film group), the error is controlled within the range of 0 ~ 0.4mm. If you want to use the axial pre-compensation, you must adjust the distance between the two mounting plates according to the required axial pre-compensation value. This value is generally taken from the cold and heat change of the distance between the coupling drive and the end face of the driven motor mounting plate. value. According to this value, the actual measurement method or the estimation method can be used, and the actual measurement value is the most accurate.
6. Adjustment of the unit
Alignment is the most important part of the installation, which can be achieved by one of the following three methods according to the types of machinery and equipment and the requirements for alignment:
a. Use a dial indicator to measure the runout values on the end face and outer circle of the coupling mounting plate. This method can be regarded as the most accurate method, but it is a little more troublesome.
b. Use two dial gauges to measure the data on the outer circle of the coupling mounting plate at the same time. This method is good and fast, it does not need to consider the changes of the shaft end, especially in the field can easily and quickly complete the measurement work.
c. Straightedge and inner caliper methods are suitable for occasions with low requirements and low precision.
We recommend the first two methods, the latter can also be used based on user experience.
When the two methods a and b are used for alignment, if the unit needs (for example, the shaft head distance is long, or the centering accuracy is particularly high), the influence of the meter rod sag on the misalignment value should be included. The sagging amount of the benchmark can be measured in advance according to the following steps and recorded.
7. The steps are as follows
(1) Fix the meter frame according to the length L of the meter rod required for actual alignment, and then install the magnetic base on a flat plate with better rigidity.
(2) Put the plate upright and then upside down, and read the difference between the dial gauge readings.
The misalignment data allowed during installation, that is, axial, angular (installation disk end face runout), radial (installation disk outer circle runout), three-way misalignment data should be provided by various equipment manufacturers, when coupling When the user has no requirements, it is recommended to use the data in the attached table or negotiate jointly.
(3) Install laminated components and spacer shaft
Place the laminated assembly and the spacer shaft between the two mounting plates according to the marks, and align them according to the marks, and then respectively install the precision bolts, bushings, and self-locking nuts (or slot nuts) on both ends of the assembly (as parts When there is no mark or label on it, it indicates that there is no angular position requirement for installation). Tighten one end of the nut first. When tightening, try to ensure that the bolt does not rotate. Strictly follow the tightening torque requirements. Use a torque wrench to tighten at least three times in diagonal order (see the attached table for tightening torque requirements), and then follow the tightening torque requirements. Tighten the nut on the other end. For grooved nuts, cotter pins should be worn after tightening, and the flanges should be tightened to ensure that they will not loose or fall off during operation.
When assembling the self-locking nut, a small amount of neutral lubricating oil should be applied.
The self-locking nut is allowed to be used multiple times, but if the locking part of the self-locking nut can be screwed into the bolt freely by hand, or if there are defects such as cracks in the closing part of the self-locking nut, it should be scrapped and reused is strictly prohibited.
(4) Rotate the machine slowly for 2 to 3 revolutions to confirm that it rotates freely.
(5) Install the guard of the coupling.
8. Use and maintenance
(1) Regular inspection
a. Whether the nut is loose.
b. Whether the split pin is broken or missing.
c. Observe whether there are bumps, cracks, excessive permanent deformation and other defects on the outer surface of the film set.
d. Whether there is obvious rubbing on the surface of the matching section of the torsion bolt.
e. Check whether the axis alignment of the unit has been changed, and the misalignment value has exceeded the regulations, and the alignment should be adjusted again if necessary.
(2) Monitoring
If necessary, the vibration value of the unit can be measured during the operation of the unit. If the vibration value has exceeded the vibration intensity range, the machine should be shut down to check the cause.
9. Disassembly of the coupling
Before disassembling, you should be familiar with the structure and assembly and disassembly procedures of the coupling. Observe whether there are relative position marks between the parts, and whether the bolts, nuts, and bushings are numbered, so that the relative position marks can be properly marked during reassembly, and the fasteners are numbered and seated. In addition, pay attention to protect the surface of the diaphragm to prevent bumps when disassembling.
10. Replace accessories
If the laminated components or fasteners are found to be damaged, the parts should be replaced in time. The laminated assembly allows individual replacement of unbalanced couplings, and the fasteners allow individual replacement. For dynamically balanced couplings, the fasteners should be replaced as a set.
